Electric Seeds is a multimedia performance blending traditional practices with experimental technologies. Textile interfaces control light, audio and visual. Frankensistas guide the audience through immersive high and low-tech rituals.
Frankensistas is a collaborative project blending ancient art techniques with high-tech rituals in their Electric Garden by artists Karla Kracht and aruma showcased in various stages at international venues since 2019.
A live cinema experience combined with ancient art techniques such as traditional Bolivian weaveing. The meeting point of folk arts & crafts with low-tech cyborgs.
Electric Seeds will be presented at Fousion Gallery Barcelona on Thursday, 28th of March 2024 , 6:30 -7:30 pm
Artists
aruma
Aruma, is an artist and researcher of Andean textiles in the context of the New
Media Art. Her work is considered the avant-garde of experimentation
in art, science and technology in Latin America. She create interfaces and
interactive textile installations that refer to different manifestations of the Andean textile tradition and from which one can visualize the energy that flows through the Andean textile fibers.
