Gabriel Pérez Raventós' second exhibition at Fousion Gallery.

“When I worked as a carpenter, we used to leave the used emery paper in a box to dump later. I found them of an enormous beauty, as much as for the estetic of the mark left by the scratch with the wood, as also the sensation it gave during the carpentry work while I was creating the pieces. As an artist I like to select and catch up what the waste material offers. If the Wood was a pencil and the emery paper a blanc paper, the difference would be that you would have to move the paper while the pencil stays fixed.”
