Javier Bellmono – Puzzles

Puzzles by Javier Bellmono is based on the fragmentation of images and their recomposition into their new total. The slogan of working at home is born as a response to the increasing industrialization of art. This is how the idea of ​​“working small to exhibit big” came up. Being able to scale the images, inspired by the idea of ​​the pantograph, to become the desired size. The support in "old book sheets" generates a relationship with the work that exceeds the simple photographic taking. This includes the search for the right book, the way to take it apart and relate it to photography, even the adaptation of the authentic color of the pages. A work that combines the detail of both the image and the support.
